APRIL SERMON SERIES : DELIGHTFUL ME
Beauty for blemishes. One of God's amazing promises is to give His people beauty for ashes (Isaiah 61:30). He also wants us to stop looking in the mirror to see all the errors, shortcomings, and blemishes. We tend to beat ourselves up, see ourselves as small, and highlight all the lowlights we have experienced. Stop looking in the mirror because you are so much better than what you see!
Our spring teaching series, DELIGHTFUL ME, will be a joyful and powerful look at God's unmatched and unmerited mercy. 1 Peter 1:3 tells us, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." His mercy will disarm the lies that we are not smart enough, not good enough, or have not done enough to earn His love or be used for His purposes. This series will unlock us from the shackles of shame, past mistakes, and feelings of inadequacy. Get ready for mercy to meet you!
